Fishing Outlook: Flow rates on the Ausable and surrounding rivers are at peak right now. Air temperatures have been in the 80s so morning fishing has been the most productive. Be sure to carry a thermometer, river temps are nearing 70 so be sure to check the water temp for the safety of the fish. Tomorrow is the last day of consistent hot,  sunny and clear weather. Scattered thunderstorms are expected over the weekend turning into consistent rain beginning Monday and lasting through the week. Rain will increase flow rates and lower water temps, which will likely push prime trout conditions into July. For the most up-to-date reports give us a call here at the Fly Shop at 518-946-2117.
