River float trips with the hungry trout are an amazing fun-filled way to enjoy a summer day in the Adirondacks.

The Hungry Trout offers classic river float trip for Bass and Pike on a number of amazing rivers. Our skilled guides use oar rigged rafts to maneuver you into those hard-to-cast places. They will spend the day sharing their expertise and knowledge, teaching you casting techniques 

In summer, when most area streams are too low and warm to be fished, our area waters are teeming with excellent warm water fishing for bass and pike. From dropping scenery to the rod bending fish, this trip is a winner from start to finish.

What's Included?

  • Introductions to the equipment, river conditions, hatches, techniques, and everything you would need to get started
  • Your very own dedicated and experienced guide throughout the trip to help increase your experience level and teach you the ropes
  • We can run trips at a time that suits you, our guides are available to suit your schedule, although prime fishing times are best and we will gladly suggest them.
  • Easy to fit into a morning or afternoon and leave the rest of the day for other activities, or go out on your own with the skills you've gained.
  • Whatever your skill level, your health, or your goals, our guides can provide the fun, educational, and memorable experience you are looking for
  • We can run extra sessions at a time to suit you. If you can’t easily find the date you’re after please contact us and we will be happy to help
