Hungry Trout guests have exclusive access to two miles of private Adirondack river—boulder-strewn pocket water, deep runs, and huge pools with a long history of exceptional fly fishing. With no crowds to work around, our guides have the freedom to move throughout the property, follow the hatches, and fish the best water of the day. It’s an incredible setting for individual anglers, families, and large groups looking for a truly private Adirondack fishing experience. Our riverside camp and BBQ area can accommodate large groups and corporate outings. Full-day trips include a shore lunch!

Guided by full-time professionals on the Ausable River, you’ll build a strong foundation in casting, presentation, and fish behavior—skills that actually translate beyond the trip. We meet you where you are, cut out the confusion, and focus on what works. Expect a hands-on, engaging experience that leads to real improvement—and fish.
