    REMEMBER TO CHECK WATER TEMPERATURES

    Flow: 516c.f.s

    Clarity: Clear

    Temperature: 64 Degrees F at 9am

    Weather: High of 82 Degrees and Sunny

    Hatches: Stoneflies, Caddis, BWO, and Sulphurs

    Hot Flies: Dry Flies: Dry fly fishing is still around with Sulphurs,  Stoneflies, Caddis, and attractor mayfly and terrestrial patterns. Over the next week we are going to see some hot weather. Nightly temps will range in the mid to high 60s. So if you have interest in trout fishing, being out on the water at sunrise is critical. Dry droppers using big attractor dry fly patterns such as Foam Terrestrials, Ausable wulffs, Ausable Bombers, and Stimulators, combined with a prince nymph, copper John, pheasant tail or jig montana sally are still in play. We are almost through the dog days of summer, and will be seeing consistent productive trout fishing very soon. Both the Hungry Trout Fly Shop and our sister shop the Adirondack Anglers are fully stocked with warm water needs. Doing very well with poppers against the banks on our floats. Pop, Pop, BOOM!.
